What You’ll Do

You will lead and supervise the OPL Customer Service Department staff, ensuring they meet goals for assisting patrons, promoting library resources, and managing daily operations. You'll play a key role in staff development, including training and professional growth, and contribute to developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures. As a Manager on Duty (MOD), you'll be the primary contact for escalated customer issues and building concerns, coordinating with Library Management, Security, and the Orlando Police Department as needed. Your responsibilities will also include investigating customer inquiries, managing staffing schedules, approving payroll, and administering disciplinary actions.
